KamAZ 5410 Legend Rework
We present to your attention a truly unique and unparalleled in terms of quality and innovation of the mods of the legendary Soviet truck of the 70s-80s of the last century KamAZ-5410. This mod also includes a huge pack of Soviet OdAZ trailers manufactured by the Odessa Trailer Plant, a MAZ container ship manufactured by the Minsk Automobile Plant and an old Schmitz, Krone & Cheetah trailers from the 80s of the last century. KamAZ - 5410 is a long-range history, it is one of the few trucks that are known all over the world and operate to this day 40 years after the start of production. They worked in Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Cuba. They could be found at all latitudes and in the Arctic. Therefore, this mod has historical value.
What is the uniqueness of this mod, you ask, and how does it differ from other previously made KamAZ trucks? Now I will tell you about it in detail:
1. The main difference between this mod and the rest is a unique high-poly 3D model. It was created entirely according to factory drawings and photographs of the 70s of the last century by the talented modeller Bumer1 for three years. Every smallest detail has been worked out, right down to bolts, rivets and small factory plates. This is a huge long-term painstaking work that has no analogues. The 3D model of the air horn on the roof was made by Nikon Oleinichenko and it was made straight from the original part that lay on the table in front of him.
2. Such a unique 3D model required a non-standard approach to creating a game model for the game. An innovative solution was found and the model was baked in 3D Coath with 3D textures by immersing in them. This was done by another talented Russian modeler Mikhail Mikhailov. The result was simply shocking, the model on the monitor looks absolutely photorealistic, like a real truck.
3. The next problem was to implement an animated copy of real trailer cables. After many hours of simulation and experimentation, the solution was found. The cables in the mod work and look like a real KamAZ in the last century.
4. A huge amount of work has been done to create the interior model. A 3D model from Java was taken as a basis. Its geometry was corrected and the doors were completely replaced with correct ones with the correct geometry. The dashboard panel and animation have been redesigned. The animation in this mod is fully functional - all controls, control lamps and devices work. When the windows are lowered, the handles of the mechanical windows rotate.
5. Trailers are made similarly to a truck. The author of their unique models is also Bumer1, the author of the Schmitz model is the talented Ukrainian modeler Nikon Oleinichenko. They also got a 3D Coath bake with real photorealistic textures. All license plates on the truck and trailers were made in 3D and baked.
6. And of course, the icing on the cake is the unique mod sounds. Their author is a talented author of Russian truck mods, a veteran of mod building Alexander Korolev (Koral). Thanks to his perseverance, perseverance and talent, the absolutely real sound of KamAZ with the original and Yaroslavl engines was recreated. His work is a real masterpiece !!!
As a result, I can tell you that this mod is the result of the joint work of the best specialists in this field and the task of creating a copy of KamAZ for the game has been implemented brilliantly!!!
